Description:

To treat and prevent dehydration due to diarrhoea and travellers’ gastroenteritis in children and adults.

Glucose electrolyte oral powder.

Ingredients:

Each sachet contains:
Glucose monohydrate ………. 3.56 g
Sodium acid citrate ………..… 0.53 g
Sodium chloride …………….… 0.47 g
Potassium chloride ……….…. 0.30 g

Free from Gluten.

Contains saccharin and sugars. Contains 276 mg sodium and 157 mg potassium per sachet.

Directions:

For complete information on directions for use, see pack insert.
Empty one sachet into 200mL of fresh drinking water in the plastic measure provided and stir to dissolve.

For infants or where fresh drinking water is not available, use freshly boiled cooled water.
If nausea and vomiting are present, drink in small amounts at first.
Take as required whilst diarrhoea is present unless your doctor advises otherwise.
Reconstituted solution may be stored in a fridge for up to 24 hours. Otherwise, unused solution should be discarded within one hour.

Seek medical advice if:
• the condition worsens,
• the child is not passing urine as much as expected or less frequently,
• diarrhoea persists for more than:
Under 6 months ……….. 6 hours
Under 3 years ………… 12 hours
3 – 6 years …………….. 24 hours
Over 6 years …………… 48 hours
